With more than two decades in the expedition industry, Jen Martin brings deep operational expertise, field leadership, and a passion for remote destinations to every journey. Her career began in Skagway, Alaska, where she worked as a coach driver and guide—an early role that sparked a lasting connection to wild places and immersive travel.
Since then, Jen has led expedition voyages across the globe, serving as an expedition leader and naturalist in both polar regions, the South Pacific, Asia, the Russian Far East, Alaska, Central & South America, coastal Europe, and the Baltic Sea. Her extensive time in the field has given her an intimate understanding of complex destinations and the logistical nuance required to explore them well.
Jen spent years at sea with Cruise West and Lindblad Expeditions before stepping ashore to direct field staff operations and later, to lead expedition development. At Lindblad, she managed a department of nearly 300 team members, overseeing global staffing and operations. In 2016, she began designing Lindblad’s international itineraries and programs, before joining Seabourn to lead product development and itinerary planning during the launch of their expedition product.
Most recently, Jen brought her expertise to a private family office, as part of a travel team supporting business and personal travel needs.
From field team leadership to product creation, Jen combines strategic vision with on-the-ground experience to deliver thoughtful, well-executed expeditions rooted in curiosity, respect, and discovery.
