Originally from Sweden, Jojo began her career at sea over 20 years ago, discovering her passion for life onboard while working with Crystal Cruises and later Silversea. During this time, she gained invaluable experience in high-end guest service and onboard operations. In 2009, she joined the iconic residential ship The World, where she spent 11 incredible years sailing across the globe and refining her skills in logistics, guest engagement, and event coordination.
It was during her time with The World that Jojo was first introduced to expedition travel, as EYOS came aboard several times each year to deliver bespoke, tailor-made journeys. After her time at sea, she continued working with The World for another 2.5 years as Expedition Planner, helping to shape bespoke itineraries and immersive travel experiences in close coordination with EYOS.
Her passion for exploration and off-the-beaten-path travel then led her to join the start-up team at Nansen Polar Expeditions, where she spent five years helping to build and operate expedition programs in both the Arctic and Antarctica. Since 2023, Jojo has been Expedition Coordinator at EYOS, where she contributes to delivering world-class journeys that combine scientific depth, logistical excellence, and truly unforgettable experiences.
