EYOS Expeditions, the world leader in private superyacht experiences, announces the addition of Scintilla Maris to its fleet. The yacht will be available for charters in Svalbard, Greenland, and Coastal Norway starting in spring 2024.

Scintilla Maris (translating from Latin as “the spark of the sea”) is a brand-new 46m expedition yacht built on the recycled hull of a classic DAMEN trawler design, incorporating a variety of eco-friendly design elements. With hybrid-electric propulsion and advanced navigation systems, she is extremely fuel efficient and almost vibration free.

She accommodates up to ten guests across four double cabins and one spacious owner’s suite.

The yacht’s interior, by Dutch studio Vripack, features luxurious, boutique hotel-inspired interiors with a contemporary, loft-like feel incorporating skylights, portholes, curved white feature walls and a contrasting bold color scheme of reds, greens, and yellows.

She offers multiple welcoming interior and exterior areas for socializing and relaxing, including a natural light-filled lounge, spacious dining room and open-air kitchen.

Scintilla Maris offers an intimate expedition experience, perfect for exploring the dramatic landscapes, fascinating cultures, and getting up close to wildlife in the Zodiacs, including polar bears, beluga whales and bearded seals.

Scintilla Maris is available for charter from $160k (£129K) per week plus APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance).
