AN ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT

Both elegant and comfortable, Pioneer is a rare combination of a proven luxury yacht with an adventurous spirit.

The 46-meter-long Pioneer is one of the most accomplished private expedition yachts ever built. A veteran of numerous far-flung sailings, from the Northwest Passage to Antarctica, she was the first yacht to circumnavigate North America.

SPECIFICATION

Description

Pioneer’s long bow creates a classic profile and is well suited for comfortably tackling any ocean swell. Ample exterior decks ensure plenty of room to take in passing scenery and a wide selection of toys affords opportunities in tropical regions for off-yacht diving, sailing and water and jet-skiing. A remarkable 8,000 nautical-mile range ensures no compromises when planning itineraries.

Inside, Pioneer can accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms following an extensive recent refurbishment. An Owner’s deck features a large stateroom, an adjacent office and a private, aft-facing deck. Decorated in a traditional style with warm woods, Pioneer’s lounges are inviting, warm spaces that encourage relaxed conversation after a day adventuring ashore.

  • THE VAST WILDERNESS
    IS WAITING, WHERE

    COULD SHE TAKE YOU?

    Antarctica

Antarctica challenges our human concept of scale and importance. Huge aggregations of whales are dwarfed by the coastal mountains and glaciers that surround their feeding grounds. In turn, the food for these cetaceans, the krill, seems impossibly insufficient to feed such an explosion of life.

  • THE VAST WILDERNESS
    IS WAITING, WHERE

    COULD SHE TAKE YOU?

    North West
    Passage

Set off on a voyage of exploration from Greenland into the fabled Northwest Passage, a legendary Arctic sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans along the north coast of the Americas. This labyrinth of channels weaves over 1,000 miles between the islands of Canada’s Arctic Archipelago and has been the five-century dream of explorers in search of a route to Asia.
