At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, where some of the world’s most luxurious vessels gather under the glittering Monte Carlo sky, Pink Shadow made waves for all the right reasons. This yacht, part of the Xplorer series designed by Damen Yachting in collaboration with EYOS, was developed using decades of field-based knowledge to combine the luxury and security of a superyacht with the capabilities of an expedition vessel. Amid the opulence of superyachts designed for Mediterranean lounging, Pink Shadow stood apart with her striking green hull and bold profile.

It isn’t just her robust lines and bold color that set her apart though; it is her adventurous spirit that these striking visuals signified. At her core, Pink Shadow represents the apex of luxury expedition yachts, offering unparalleled capability and versatility. From the immersive main deck beach club to an array of thrilling water toys, tenders, and specialized equipment designed for all types of expeditions, she’s a mobile base camp for the ultimate adventure and reflects EYOS’s commitment to bringing guests to the world’s wildest corners—whether that’s the icy waters of Antarctica or the isolated islands of the Pacific.

EYOS CEO Ben Lyons and Co-Founder Tim Soper visited the vessel in Monaco and shared their impressions of Pink Shadow’s prominence in the harbor.

“Pink Shadow cut a distinctive profile at Monaco Yacht Show, standing out not so much for her dramatic exterior design and colors but also for her obvious intent and purpose. Amidst the sea of similarly designed white yachts, Pink Shadow looked like she had a purpose and movement built in from the very start. This was a serious-looking yacht and she turned heads from everyone at the show, whether sailing past in a tender or looking at her from the dock. The imposing bow, a fully enclosed bridge, and the functional yet beautifully designed aft beach club all spoke to this yacht’s capabilities to explore off the grid in the highest level of comfort.”
